About Us |
Salt Creek is a Chicago-area sports car club
providing motorsports activities since 1959. Our racing season
typically consists of Road Races at Blackhawk Farms Raceway, High- and
Medium-Speed Autocrosses (Solo I & II), the occasional rally, and enough
social functions to keep us racing (or bench-racing) all year long.
Salt Creek SCC is a friendly, low-pressure way to learn racing and autocrossing skills if you're new to the sport, or practice and maintain your skills if you're not. Your membership in Salt Creek SCC also makes you a member of the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs and makes you eligible to enter their Road Race and Solo I Autocross Championship Series at tracks such as Road America, Blackhawk Farms, Grattan, Autobahn, The Milwaukee Mile, and Gingerman. Salt Creek SCC meets the first Thursday of
the month in the western suburbs of Chicago. Meetings are
friendly and informal, and all members and non-members alike are welcome to
stop by and join us for burgers, brats, beers, and bench-racing.
Family and Individual Dues are the same, and include race discounts and subscriptions to the brilliant
"Salt Creek Speaks - The Official Shop Rag of the Salt Creek Sports Car Club"
and Midwestern Council's "Klaxon." FRIENDS OF SALT CREEK |
